I need this best solicitor in derby (UK) for family law… Please Help!?

I am going through a Divorce at the minute, my husband has taken my daughter of 10 years old to live with him behind my back as well as changing her school behind my back. And now my daughter doesn’t want to see me unless I get back together with him. Even though she knows he’s pushed me away by being manipulative, a liar, and by smoking £70 of weed a week, she seems to be blaming me for everything just because I’m the one who is divorcing him. She’s been with me for 10 years and all of a sudden she is gone. My husband knows I have been through this in the past and have lost my son through an abusive relationship. He is using her as a weapon towards me, brainwashing her and it is affecting her mentally. But he doesn’t care as long as he can hurt me. I don’t know what to do and I am breaking point.

If you look up the “Law Society” in your phone book, give them a ring and they will be able to advise you on the best family law solicitor in your area.

Rights, Gender and Family Law by Wallbank, Julie; Choudhry, Shazia; Herring, Jonathan Edition , 1

Rights, Gender and Family Law by Wallbank, Julie; Choudhry, Shazia; Herring, Jonathan Edition , 1

$48.94

There has been a widespread resurgence of rights talk in social and legal discourses pertaining to the regulation of family life, as well as an increase in the use of rights in family law cases, in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. Rights, Gender and Family Law addresses the implications of these developments ? and, in particular, the impact of rights-based approaches upon the idea of welfare and its practical application. There are now many areas of family law in which rights and welfare based approaches have been forced together. But whilst, to many, they are premised upon different ethics ? respectively, of justice and of care ? for others, they can nevertheless be reconciled. In this respect, a central concern is the ‘gender-blind’ character of rights-based approaches, and the ontological and practical consequences of their employment in the gendered context of the family. Rights, Gender and Family Law explores the tensions between rights-based and welfare-based approaches: explaining their differences and connections; considering whether, if at all, they are reconcilable; and addressing the extent to which they can advantage or disadvantage the interests of women, children and men. It may be that rights-based discourses will dominate family law, at least in the way that social policy and legislation respond to calls of equality of rights between mothers and fathers. This collection, however, argues that rights cannot be given centre-stage without thinking through the ramifications for gendered power-relations, and the welfare of children. It will be of interest to researchers and scholars working in the fields of family law, gender studies and social welfare.

 Children Act 1989

Children Act 1989

$123.87

The UK’’s Children Act 1989, Pt III (”Local Authority Support for Children and Families”) has considerable relevance both as an area of UK law in its own right, but also, increasingly, to practitioners in the field of child law. The recent threats to public funding in the more traditional areas of family work have led many practitioners to seek to broaden their experience in different areas. Judicial review in the field of child law is one area that has seen an increase in interest for child specialists. In addition, an understanding of the duties imposed on UK local authorities to provide services to children and families is becoming increasingly important to those representing local authorities, children, and parents in public law proceedings, where the need for these services is often seen to arise. This book will act as a useful companion, both for those making decisions on behalf of local authorities and their advisers, and also for child law practitioners more generally.

 Children's Services at the Crossroads

Children’s Services at the Crossroads

$41.24

In response to widespread and persistent concern over the ability of social services to safeguard and promote the well-being of the most vulnerable children, UK governments have in recent years introduced some of the most far reaching changes ever encountered in this field. However, this book argues that – in England especially – despite the best intentions of those driving these changes forward, the approaches to reform have substantially diminished the capability of children’’s social services to respond effectively to the complex challenges which they face. In Children’’s Services at the Crossroads, leading authors in the field of social work explore the impact of the reform agenda on key areas of children’’s services practice, including child safeguarding, youth offending, children in care, family support, ethical practice, and child welfare law. The book describes an oppressive, managerialist environment within which: process and procedures are prioritized over outcomes and objective
